Elizabeth led the group in a mindful moment
Community Manager gave update on the PACEs/Resilience Vinters grant awarded to Gravenstein Health Action Coalition in partnership with SCPC and Dovetail. Elizabeth and Sandra Bodley have been meeting with school districts in West County to find out what their awareness of PACEs, effects of COVID, and needs of the school. Presentations to begin in August.
SCPC partnered with over 25 organizations to put together "Celebrating Parents as Heroes" event. Elizabeth shared the video made.
Dana Swiley of Sonoma Connect/Sonoma Unidos shared that contracts are being made and will be given out soon. Elizabeth shared that she has been learning about the Cooperative of Communities that will support the Scope of Work that SCPC will be providing.
Elizabeth shared that she met with PACEs Connection and SC/SU to modify the Cooperative of Communities contract to align with the ARPA contract. SC/SU has not submitted payment yet, and they are processing it now to pay the $5,000 yearly fee. Mathew suggested to pay for two years. Elizabeth will continue to facilitate SCPC, coordinate the activities of the PACEs initiative, including managing the PACEs initiativeβs community on ACEs Connection, arranging initiative meetings, recruiting members, etc. per the Affiliate Agreement with PACES and SC/SU and will align with the ARPA funds.
Partner Check in- Lizbeth shared that CPI has 5 open positions for supervised visitation during the evening and Saturdays.
Group was open to a Fall social and those that attended the last one really enjoyed it. Date TBD.
Future Agenda items: Dana Swiley to present on the work being done with SCOE and Michelle Ballinger on ACEs.
