National Parent Leadership Month

This is a very exciting month as we honor Parents as Heroes and Community Leaders and Sonoma County PACEs Connection would like to invite you to collaborate with us!

February is National Parent Leadership Month, dedicated to recognizing the important role of parents and caregivers in their homes and community.

In recognition of National Parent Leadership Month 2022, Sonoma County PACEs Connection honors parents as heroes and celebrates the important role that culture has in shaping different communities across our nation.

Children's Trust Fund Alliance created a certificate that recognizes the strong role culture plays in the lives of families and communities. The image featured on this year’s certificate stems from the work around preventing child neglect and the socio-ecological model. For families to be strong families they need the support of their communities.

There will be an informational meeting this Friday at 10:00AM if you would like to join or share with others. If you are unable to join and are interested in taking part, please let me know.

Last year we had great success and we are looking forward to this year. Recently in a meeting a wise woman said, "Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean".
