Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to join us for a Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) Training that we are hosting in Santa Rosa on July 27-28. The attached flyer includes a more detailed description of the content and link for registration.
It isn’t often that we have the chance to attend training on evidenced-based practices to care for clients affected by natural disasters. Caring for wildfire survivors is clinically different in its approach – yet very few local practitioners have had access to the education needed to optimally support trauma-informed care. NOW, you do – and we ask you to share the attached flier with your peers, staff and other colleagues who would benefit from this training.
For a fee of only $40, you and your colleagues can access a 12-hour, two day training, complete with CE units and printed materials. We do however require a registration and RSVP in order to prepare the room, print materials and order food. The link for registration is https://spr_2day_training.eventbrite.com.
I can assure you that the feedback from the first training was excellent and the second training will be equally great – so please register and spread the word. Everyone is working so hard to care for fire survivors and this extra layer of special knowledge will be beneficial to mental health providers and the clients for whom we all care.
Thank you for your attention and response.
Warm regards
Diane, on behalf of Debbie Mason
