We invite you to join other Sonoma County leaders at a special summit to address the hidden crisis affecting the economic well-being, educational attainment, and health of every sector of our county. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic early experiences that profoundly alter a child’s developing brain and body, and diminish individual success and community well-being. Nearly 65% of Sonoma County residents have had at least one of these life-impacting experiences, yet Adverse Childhood Experiences are preventable.
Speakers:
Dr. Dipesh Navsaria, assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Matt Sanders, founder of Triple P Parenting
Alicia St. Andrews, community manager, ACEs Connection Network
Please join First 5 Sonoma County and leading experts in this field to learn about ACEs and focused prevention efforts that are already underway in Sonoma County. By working together to reduce the occurrence and impact of ACEs in our community, we will improve the quality of life for all Sonoma County residents.
We hope that you will join us for this informative and impactful event!
