Our next MARC Learning Collaborative webinar is on Thursday, March 16th, 2:30-4pm ET.
This month, the MARC teams in Alaska and Washington will co-facilitate the discussion on Action for Resilient & Compassionate Education Systems.
Here's a short description (note the preparation request):
Creating resilient and compassionate education systems is a journey worth taking. However, in this work, it often feels like the road map gets handed out at the end! Each program, building or district finds its own unique path to engage the cultural, social and psychological needs of the teachers, staff, students, families, neighborhoods and the broader community it serves. In this Learning Collaborative, WA and AK will share our experiences, a few lessons we've learned about our work to increase resilience practices in education, and a few exciting efforts taking shape in the Northwest. Each MARC project site is asked to prepare to share (2 minutes) one example from their site that reflects this resilience & compassion-building educational movement and to dream with us about how we can all take it to the next level.
