Please see attached for the 10-24-18 meeting. Thank you @Michelle Dominguez I have a suggestion , as a way of accelerating the ACEs movement - would it be possible to have folks introduce themselves and share what brings them to the meeting - personal or professional (or both!)? Maybe they could also share what is happening in their work/world related to ACEs, trauma informed work and building resiliency? It would be cool to see something about youth engagement, organizing, or action research to discuss empowering youth to address issues in their community. THe different breakout groups seem more focused on addressing risk versus empowering youth to make systems/ policy change etc. Just an observation of mine. Looking at item 3.3 I wonder if this Community Resilience Initiative : CRIResilient.org might be a useful model to consider? They have been very success - over a number of years - working at a grassroots community level and bringing in local partners and key stakeholders. T hey've worked through early bumps and are open to sharing their lessons learned. *Their annual conference (#300+ attendees?) is sold out early each year!
