State of CA- Legislative Steering Committee

Hello everyone, I have just joined this State Action group after the invigorating, inspiring Children Can Thrive Summit that took place a couple weeks ago in San Fransisco. As some of you may know there was talk of creating a Steering Committee to initiate a Legislative Day in Sacramento to present the newest ACEs Research in Ca and provide recommendations of new implementation of the ACE questionairre at various portals of entry in the community. With this post, I want to get this conversation started.

Hello Kimberly. Sorry for the delay in commenting but I think it is a great time to increase awareness of what is coming out the California ACEs Summit and from other initiatives in the state to address ACEs. I would encourage you to post your comment on the California ACEs Action group since some of the members of that group attended the Summit and will be involved in follow-up activities. As the ACEs Network staff member assigned to the State ACEs Action group, I'll be monitoring the California ACEs Action group to be sure that things of interest to other states will appear on this group site. I appreciate this posting as a reminder to share all the exciting things that are going on in California with the other states. Thanks, Elizabeth
