About Lindsey Cody, Site Community Manager:
Lindsey Cody is the East TN Regional Administrator for the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth (TCCY) and Regional Coordinator for the East Tennessee Council on Children and Youth (ETCCY). Since he re-established the East Tennessee Council in Knoxville, he has coordinated 80 Educational Training events with capacity attendance. ETCCY workshops and conferences have provided Continuing Education Units for over 5000 attendees. There are 1110 current paid memberships to the East TN Council on Children and Youth. Subjects regarding Children and Families in ETCCY Education events have included ACEs, Adolescent Mental Health Issues, Teen Suicide Prevention, Hispanic and Immigrant Children, Implicit Bias, How to Talk to Kids about School Shootings, The Relative Caregiver Program, Teen Pregnancy, Gangs, Bullying, Legislative Issues, Cultural Diversity, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training, Juvenile Justice, LGBTQ Youth, Wraparound Services, Case Management, Domestic Violence, Behavior in Teens, Youth Risk Behavior Survey, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma and Re-training the Brain, and Human Trafficking. One of the impacts of the East TN Council on Children and Youth is networking opportunities provided through workshops and conferences. Parents are always included in all of ETCCY training events. Lindsey is a Graduate of Lindenwood College with a BFA in Performing Arts and Musical Theater.
