Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative disease that progresses significantly over time. Individuals usually have symptoms ranging from mild to severe trembling. Typically occurring on one side of the body. These symptoms often display themselves in several different areas of the body including the arms, legs, feet, and hands. Furthermore, this disease can cause significant decrease in daily kinesthetic activity. An individual with Parkinson’s Disease can have concerns with muscle spasms, linguistic delays, and impartial movement often resulting in edema. It is essential to notify a medical professional, and begin physical therapeutic interventions at early onset of the aforementioned symptoms.
