1 in 6 adults report having had 4 or more ACEs symptoms as a child. Teachers are in a unique position to see and know the signs and symptoms of ACEs. They spend an average of 40 hours a week with these children and can help identify potential cases before they become severe. Teachers can help change the outcome of their students lives, both now and long term. ACEs can lead to early death, high suicide risk, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and asthma. I have created an infographic, poster and radio ad for teachers to use as a resource to learn more about ACEs and stay informed to protect their students. Together we can prevent more children from falling under the radar and having these detrimental negative health outcomes later in life.
