Research shares that for children who have experienced foster care, their best outcomes occur when birth, foster and kinship families hold a compassionate and respectful understanding for one another. Rebekah Couch has become a respected expert in the field of addiction, recovery and building resilient communities. She shares with us her twenty-year personal journey of addiction, recovery, the rebuilding of family relationships, and the power of forgiveness. Importantly, Rebekah allows us to build an understanding to addiction’s power; its hold on an individual and its destructive nature, and how community is a part of recovery and resilience. This is not a class you want to miss.
