· Riverfront Farmstand now open
The West Sacramento Urban Farm Program is opening an on-site farm stand at Riverfront Farm in West Sac. The Riverfront Farmstand will be open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11am-1pm on the corner of Riverfront and Bridge Street. SNAP/EBT get 50% discount. · Yolo County WIC is operating remotely
Yolo WIC workers are working remotely. They continue to enroll parents for benefits and make sure new mothers have breast pumps if needed. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
· Information about changes to Medicaid in regards to public charge for immigrants

· Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) update: Opportunity for youth!
In addition to enrolling youth in paid work experience for up to 300 hours with a local business, it is also possible for youth to do training programs through Yolo County HHSA. Attached (2020 July List), please find the list of programs that are currently available. Those interested can contact the county directly, but youth can also co-enroll in YCCA's WIOA program.
