The Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program and Homeless Education Services program at Yolo County Office of Ed hosts a monthly collaborative for networking, professional development, training opportunities, program updates, current work serving youth, and a place to share community strengths and needs (please see attached meeting dates). This is great opportunity to meet others doing similar work in various settings as well as honor the voice of community members.
Please remember during the open meetings, we would love to have participation from community members and community partners and agencies. Feel free to share collaborative dates and information. Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 11th from 8:30-10:30 @ Yolo County Office of Education, Woodland Room. At our next collaborative meeting on 2/11/20, the State of California Office of the Ombudsperson for Foster Care will be providing training on the personal rights of foster youth including AB12 information.
