DATA RESOURCE: Safe & Sound's New Website on the Economic Impact of Abuse in California

Safe & Sound has developed an interactive website that details the rates of child abuse and the economic impact of abuse on California’s community, as well as the factors that both help to protect children and those that place them in greater risk. The information unveils the ongoing ills of child abuse underlying each community, and its impact on each of us. The data is viewable by county or region, downloadable, and is shareable. The Yolo County Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) cited the 2018 data in their July 7 presentation to the Board of Supervisors.
