FREE GUIDED MINDFULNESS MEDITATION PRACTICE.
Longtime mediator and Woodland resident Cherie Porter offers a free weekly mediation. 2-3 guided meditations over a 60-90 minute period, with short breaks in between.
- We practice mindfulness, which means we pay attention on purpose, in the present moment, with acceptance and without judgement.
WHO
- We are a small sangha; women and men, all ages, beliefs. Both beginning and experienced meditators who enjoy being together to learn about and practice mindfulness.
- I’ve had a personal meditation practice for more than 50 years and have studied with Zen, Buddhist, Hindu and mindfulness masters in the US, Asia, and SE Asia.
WHEN and WHERE
- Every Monday from 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM unless circumstances necessitate cancellation - in which case you will be notified via this same Sunday email. In Woodland at Cherie's home.
