LBGTQ Youth Counseling Group

I’m pleased to announce that through a generous donation, reduced fees and scholarships are now available for the LBGTQ Youth Counseling Group scheduled to start on July 24th. The group will focus on friendships, self-esteem, identity, school issues, family issues and other concerns. For teens ages 13-18. The group will meet at the Davis Center for Psychotherapy at 1621 Oak Avenue. A pre-screening is required before joining the group. $40 per session.

Sponsored by EMERGE Center for Social and Emotional Learning--a new Davis-based nonprofit--the group will be run by Julie Weckstein, LCSW, a therapist and LGBT rights activist for more than 25 years.
