Mental Health and Trauma: Context and Consequences

The Boston University School of Public Health presents a program that will examine trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and their effect on our physical and mental health and how our social and economic context influences this relation. They will be discussing questions, such as How do racial, social, and economic inequities influence the consequences of PTSD? And is our health care system equipped to address the societal burden of mental and physical health due to trauma? They are excited to welcome eight different speakers during the program.
