Hi, Everyone:
Thanks to Anna, we have a permanent place for our meetings -- at the Thomson/Walker Rooms, Yolo Cty. Dept of Health Services, 137 N. Cottonwood St, Woodland, CA.
The next meeting is 11:30 - 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26.
Between now and then, I'd like to gather as much information as possible about people and organizations in Yolo County that are implementing trauma-informed/resilience-building practices. So, if you are or know of anyone outside our group, please send me a message (through the dialog function at the top right of the site), or via email. Or add it in the comment section of this blog post. I also posted this as a topic, but you have to turn on topics in notifications to receive them in your email. (To do so, mouse over Manage in main navigation bar, mouse over Your Account, then select Notifications for this Group, and scroll toward the bottom to click whichever box you want (instant, daily weekly) for discussions.)
Gail and I will have interesting news about what we've been up to over the summer. And we can fill you in on what's happening in other counties.
Now that we've graduated from Maria's Cantina (ok ok, we can still meet there to celebrate, so we'll need to get a few things done to celebrate about!), bring a brown-bag if you want lunch.
