(anyone please add to these notes!)
1. Planning for Paper Tigers screening - week of Oct 5th
- Davis is confirmed for Brunelle Theatre on Weds, Oct 7th
- Woodland - Tracy is following up for date & venue (either Court House or Pioneer High Auditorium* better choice)
- W Sac - Regan is working with a gal to help ID best venue and confirm date. (we are coordinating with Sacramento ACEs Connection Group to possibly co-sponsor event)
- Tracy will be lead for Woodland, Regan for W Sac and Gail for Davis locations. Those three will work with community members to ID panelists for presentations.
- DPU suggested that we use 'Brown Paper' as the site to do invites (free and easy to use). We need one person to be the account holder for registering attendees. We would like one person to coordinate all events if possible. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE ABLE TO TAKE ON THIS TASK (and contact Gail if you have questions or are able to assist)!
2. Logic Model and 2 yr. Action Plan
- Ramy & Gail presented what the subgroup came up with. We will share with larger group at next Yolo Community meeting
3. Communication Tools
- Tracy, Karleen and Gail will be meeting to create a Yolo specific slide set that all can use and create slides for different sectors with data from Yolo as available. We will post when completed
- We talked about a logo re-design (feel that the bubbles is not appropriate for every sector). Ramy is designing something and will share at July Comm meeting.
- Ramy and Gail will work on a survey tool so that we can get information from anyone that presents on ACEs to any group.
- Ramy will work with Gail to update the post-presentation survey (try to make it a survey that gives feedback instantly)
4. Trauma-informed schools (TIS) training for Yolo Co
- Gail has been working with Martha Merchant from UCSF (works with Joyce Dorado). We are confirmed to send at least 5 and possibly up to 10 participants to three monthly all day trainings on TIS that Martha will be offering for San Francisco USD. Gail to coordinate with Tracy, Karleen and Susan for IDing participants.
