This year’s virtual conference will cover prevention information and issues for all the leading causes of unintentional injury death and hospitalizations suffered by California’s children and youth through age 19, and much much more. What is the purpose of the Safer California Unintentional Injury Prevention Conference: There are three primary purposes for this conference:
- To help strengthen existing and support emerging local childhood and youth unintentional injury prevention coalitions and programs
- Increase networking between unintentional injury prevention local coalitions and programs across the state
- Increase all participants’ knowledge in the latest evidence based best practices when it comes to preventing unintentional injuries.
