WEBINAR: 90by30—Engaging Active Partners in Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention

DATE: Thursday, October 24, 2019
TIME: 11:00am - 11:45am PDT

In 2012, Lane County, Oregon took on a bold goal: to reduce child abuse and neglect by 90% in 30 years, identifying a community engagement model as the road to success. Achieving such an aspirational goal requires a county-wide effort to engage everyone, including community-based service providers, businesses, the faith community, seniors, health care providers, first responders—and of course, families themselves in implementing specific prevention strategies as self-determined by local communities.

Join the National Child Abuse and Neglect Technical Assistance and Strategic Dissemination Center (CANTASD) in a discussion of how to mobilize a broad community of partners, groups, and individuals to take on child abuse and neglect. Learn more about the strategies selected and the tools that are being used to ground and evaluate the impact of this county-wide change effort.
