Yolo County Library is hosting a celebration of Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros events throughout the month of April. This program encourages literacy for children from all backgrounds and connects families to diverse books, languages, and cultures. Attendees will receive a free book, enjoy educational activities, watch a special performance at select locations, or listen to a story time program. All are welcome to participate in these free, fun, and educational celebrations offered throughout Yolo County on the following days:
- April 13 at 2:30 p.m. Yolo Branch Library at Cache Creek High School, 14320 2nd Street, Yolo
- April 23 at 11 a.m. Winters Community Library, 708 Railroad Avenue, Winters
- April 23 at 12 p.m. Knights Landing Branch Library, 9544 Mill Street, Knights Landing
- April 30 at 12 p.m. Esparto Regional Library, 17065 Yolo Avenue, Esparto
- April 30 at 2 p.m. Mary L. Stephens – Davis Branch Library, 315 E. 14th Street, Davis
- April 1 through 30: Clarksburg Branch Library and the Arthur F. Turner Community Library will be offering month-long scavenger hunts for patrons.
