Restorative Circles is a free community Workshop offered Saturday, March 16th by Yolo Conflict Resolution Center. This workshop provides training on how to be a circle keeper in the restorative circle process. The workshop will take place from 9am-1pm in the Redwood Building, 1001 Anderson Road, Davis. Yolo Conflict Resolution Center, a non-profit organization that provides restorative based conflict resolution services, is hiring a part-time Administrative and Outreach Coordinator. Duties include: serving as the first point contact, handling general administrative duties, overseeing social media, and planning and execution of all outreach events. The Mediation Certificate Training program includes lectures, discussions, communication skills exercises, and mediation process role-play. The 2020 dates for this 36-hour Community Mediation Certification training are the following Saturdays: February 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2020.
