Origins offers a number of training and consulting services. We developed The Basics as a half-day session to provide the foundation to support trauma-informed and resilience practices across sectors and industries. The session includes an overview of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study, the neurobiology of toxic stress, the impact of social and historical trauma, and the science of resilience. We have tested The Basics with two cross-sector audiences, in Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Origins Training & Consulting is currently offering two trainings online: 1) The Basics is a 90-minute training that provides an overview of the key concepts behind a trauma-informed and resilience-building approaching 2) The Resilience Champion is a self-paced 6-week training for individuals and teams who want to apply the concepts from The Basics and lead their organizations or communities on the path to resilience. People of color have always been marginalized in our society and people of all colors are finally saying enough is enough.

Tomorrow, Dec 5th is the last chance for families in Yolo County to register for a focus group and receive a $20 gift card. The UCDavis Perinatal Origins of Disparities (POD) Center is looking for parents of child up to 18 to talk about what services in Yolo County they use and what services they would like to see in Yolo.
