California's Forgotten Children will be shown in Woodland on April 16th. Woodland United Way is working with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to provide free books to all 2019 Woodland newborns. Each month a new book will be mailed to the child's home. Through IMPACT, YCCA is providing coaching for family, friend, and neighbor child care providers using the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum. This course seeks to provide support and training to caregivers of children, including parents, foster parents and family, friends, and neighbors in the community who provide child care. There will be 1:1 support, activity bags, and Covid-19 training. There are still a few spaces available in the Spanish Woodland training (please see the attached flyer).
