An amazing Town Hall Meeting focused on mental health, hosted by Senator Pan (Sacramento District 6)
As the flyer indicates, the panel introduced Senator Pan’s legislative agenda to develop a Children’s Bill of Rights, with the mission of creating a child-centered California.

While I think that education about ACEs and resilience is crucial for medical providers and parents, I have a few questions about how this bill is proposing to handle some issues: 1) What efforts are being put in place to make sure that resources and supports exist for children and families who screen positive for trauma? 2) Are providers going to be trained in how to handle any trauma that gets raised during the screening process? 3) Is this only for the MediCal population? 4) Will...
