What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I became interested in ACE concepts and TI-informed systems when I started teaching freshman composition courses in graduate school. While working on my Ph.D. in English, I worked concurrently on an MSW (still in progress), where I encountered scholarship on trauma and ACEs. This information radically transformed my pedagogical approaches to teaching and informs the way I approach questions of "student success" at the post-secondary level.
