What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
As a medical director I noticed that the healing that takes place at camp is resilience. Got interested in the subject of trauma and have spoken at Medical Grand Rounds about medical trauma of the patient it self but also the whole family (caregivers and siblings). Seriousfun is a global organization of camps that serves the same population all for free. I would love to introduce the concept of ACEs and trauma informed care to all camps.
