I work for Chesterfield County Victim/Witness Assistance Program.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I serve on The Davis CAC protocol development leadership team and attend monthly case reviews for Chesterfield. I supervise three teams of systems-based advocates; one specializing in assisting survivors of sexual violence and working with children and their supportive caregivers involved in allegations of child abuse or neglect, one specializing in assisting survivors of domestic violence and one responding to the needs of survivors of other violent crimes against persons and IPV. I also participate in the Richmond Regional Human Trafficking Collaborative and I am currently working with local law enforcement to form our local HT task force.
Understanding ACES and resilience science are important in building our jurisdiction's best practices in serving children and families. I am interested in collaborating with other allied partners and learning about their strategies and practices in responding to children.
