What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Preventing ACEs!! With our work and focus on information and education - especially to ensure that all coming parents, parents of young children (and other grown-ups, e.g grandparents, daycare staff etc.) get the knowledge that will change the way most parents raise their children, using conditional love. One of the main reasons that so many (both children and grown-ups) struggle with low self-esteem and a fear of not/never being good enough, not being deserving of love, success, happiness, etc.
I first came across ACE and the ACE Study - through the work of Dr. Nadine Burke Harris (TED-talk) - and it was so clear to me that this is exactly what we are working to prevent!
If you're part of a community-based PACEs initiative, which one?
No, we are not yet part of any ACE initiative.
