What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
My work w/ children and adults w/ histories of trauma/ childhood adversities spans 30 years - through social work, mental health and education. Now I have turned my focus to helping those working w/ children and their parents/caregivers and teachers develop and hone skills that build nurturing, encouraging and empowering relationships. I have offered trauma-informed skill development training to those working in human services/ justice/ education for the past 9 years. The training includes information on the impact of trauma/ACEs along w/ experiential/ hands-on activities for strengthening the social-emotional capabilities in children and their caregivers. I am in the initial planning stages to bring a training to the Nashville area, and would like to discuss how we might collaborate.
