I am an educator, working in a local hospital and teaching community college classes.
What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?
I have volunteered for the Children's Literacy Fund, Pemi-Baker Literacy, many local libraries, Camp Fire Boys and Girls, and many child-center and environmental organizations
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I would like to make trauma-informed practice a more commonly discussed concept by providing education to parents, early childhood education teachers and childcare providers, church groups, and teachers-in-training, etc. I am very interested in advancing treatment options and early intervention to mitigate the long-term consequences of any child that has experienced an adverse event for that child, his/her family, and their larger community.
