What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
STRIVE (Supportive Trauma Interventions for Educators), is a collaborative project between Boston Medical Center’s Child Witness to Violence Project and Vital Village Network that aims to help schools and early education systems of care increase their capacity to identify, respond to, and optimally support the unique needs of young children who have been impacted by trauma exposure.
Knowledge of ACEs is critical to our work as we aim to apply a trauma-informed lens and a strengths-based approach to achieve our long-term goal of enhancing protective factors that ultimately prevent and mitigate childhood adversities and promote optimal wellbeing for the whole family.
