What is it you do for a living? (Parenting, volunteering, CEO of social service organization, etc.)

I just retired from 28 years in education in the areas of literacy and special education. I'm in transition to next new adventure.

What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?

None at this time.

What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?

I started learning about ACES after researching adult illnesses due to childhood trauma in my family. Then I started learning about Faster EFT from Robert Smith and he has a course on epigenetics. I knew I was on to something, then I found ACES and how it affected the multi generations of our family. I took the training when I was a special education consultant in regard how trauma affects our students in school. Thank goodness there are ways to help it, but we need to build awareness first.

If you're part of a community-based PACEs initiative, which one?

NA
