What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Since April 2018, we have been screening for ACEs within our Specialty Pediatric Clinic at Ascension Via Christi Family Medicine. We continue to embrace a trauma informed approach to the care we provide our patients and look to expand this approach by beginning to screen for ACEs within our Family Medicine Clinic in the upcoming months. We truly believe that it is our jobs to recognize and buffer the long-term effects of adversity through screening and intervention. We strive to eradicate this health crisis of today.
