What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Observing the massive impact of trauma on the lives of my clients, I was motivated to research ways of mitigating the adverse effects of trauma. I have pursued this work from the perspective of patients (e.g., preferences for discussing trauma with providers), providers (e.g., medical student trauma training), and clinics (e.g., feasibility to deliver trauma interventions). I am also interested in developing and evaluating interprofessional education curriculum to enhance the competence of health profession students in the delivery of trauma-informed health care with the potential of establishing education and training best practices in this area.
