I am the Executive Director of a non-profit domestic violence/sexual assault service agency in Garrett County, Md. I am also a licensed therapist.
What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?
I work for the Dove Center, a non-profit agency that provides safety, advocacy and counseling to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and strives to expand public awareness of those issues.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I have a passion for the ACE efforts, as I have seen them play out in my family of origin, as well as my work, each and every day. I believe strongly in the positive impact that ACEs education can do in communities. I want to be a part of disseminating that education.
