What is it you do for a living? (Parenting, volunteering, CEO of social service organization, etc.)
I have a young company that was started to help focus attention the growing suicide, violence, addiction and mental health crisis across our nation.
What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?
We are currently working through our state government here in TN and a state initiative in FL to implement a pilot to use our app to screen for depression, suicidal ideation, addiction as well as a number of other mental health issues.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
We have been researching the initial case study for ACEs and the subsequent analysis as it relates to our work. We believe that ACEs are the catalyst for many of the problems we face in society today. We are currently adding an ACE module to our app as a predictive modeling tool to begin to address these problems before they reach the crisis point.
