I work as an advocate to end violence against women and girls, with a specific focus on policy and system reform for girls and young women (< 24 years of age) who are system involved (i.e., juvenile justice, child welfare) due to behaviors associated with exposure to violence and trauma.

What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
My primary interest is in expanding the ACE instrument to include trauma as experienced by youth under the age of 18, that is also culturally responsive. Further, I am interested in how ACE can move policy and program reform in education, juvenile justice, child welfare, healthcare, etc. that is trauma-focused and addresses the specific gender and developmental stages of individuals.
