Currently consulting for several organizations and agencies: Child Development Center, Battered Persons Advocacy, and Dept. of Human Services.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I have worked my entire professional career in efforts to end - prevent - mitigate the effects of violence against women and children. I have a PhD in Public Health, ran the first Trauma Recovery Program for Women Veterans in S. Oregon, was lead writer/consultant for the first State of Oregon Violence Against Women Prevention Plan which remains as guiding policy/practice today. I continue my work helping organizations adopt Trauma Informed Policy and Practice, and currently am consultin on our first local ACEs Grant to decrease health disparities.
