I am currently a joint PhD in Medical Geography and Master's Student in Environmental and Global Health: One Health at the University of Florida.
What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?
My main work is directed towards my dissertation, where I am conducting a Community-Based Participatory Research partnership in post-conflict Northern Uganda.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
My main interest in ACEs and resilience science is derived from the direction the CBPR project has taken. Through the study, we have identified trauma from civil war as a major driver for alcoholism in the community, which has had a multifaceted impact on the community through parenting, compound upkeep and sanitation management, and leadership.
