I am currently a full-time student for one more year as I complete my Master of Social Work degree.
What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I believe that understanding and staying up to date with ACE concepts and subsequent research stemming from the ACEs study is imperative for social work to better inform practice on multiple levels. Social workers need to be one of many catalysts that helps provide integrated services, supports and works with other professionals, provides intervention, maintains a continued dialog, and/or will know about the available resources for intervention and prevention. With a passion for community building, research, and policy creation, I hope to learn more about how ACE concepts and subsequent research has, will, and can inform these areas.
