What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
As a volunteer EMT for 40 years I was ready to let my certification expire this year. After watching Nadine Burke Harris: How childhood trauma affects health across a lifetime, I could see the connection to my own family experience. As a first responder, Wouldn’t it be nice if we could bring awareness to the patient, the impact of their experience on their lives and the impact of their behavior on others. Responding to a persons house for and emergency EMS call is a totally different perspective than a patient going to their doctor's office.
