What is it you do for a living? (Parenting, volunteering, CEO of social service organization, etc.)

I am the Center Supervisor for the College of Southern Idaho Head Start Program. I oversee center activities, supervise staff, ensure policies and procedures are being followed, work with parents and community partners.

What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?

I volunteer on a few local committees. I am the Chair for the Infant Toddler Program Advisory for Region 5, AKA, RECC-Regional Early Childhood Committee. I am the Vice-Chair on South Central Community Action Partnership Board of Directors, am a member of South Central Public Health District Parents As Teachers Advisory Board and actively participate in Region 5 Child Abuse Prevention Activities through Magic Valley Prevention Coalition.

What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?

ACES science helps us understand the 'why' people respond the way they do and what can be done to overcome adversity. I can ensure the children and families we work with have ACES in their lives. I want to be a part of helping people recognize they have strengths and things that happen to them do not define who they are.

If you're part of a community-based PACEs initiative, which one?

I am a member and trainer for Region 5 of the HOPE Conquers ACES Community of Practice with the Idaho Children's Trust Fund
