What is it you do for a living? (Parenting, volunteering, CEO of social service organization, etc.)

I am a full-time graduate student at the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University, in the MPH program with a concentration on health management and policy. In addition to my concentration, I am pursuing a certificate in LGBTQ Health and devote my extra time to animals rights and queer activism as well as expanding my knowledge of trauma.

What organization(s) do you volunteer or work for?

I currently intern at the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Scattergood Foundation is a philanthropic, grant making organization devoted to mental health initiatives in Philadelphia and beyond.

What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?

While working toward my undergraduate degree in clinical psychology, I held a research assistant position and focused on trauma-informed principles, PTSD, anger and sexual victimization. I am interested in becoming more involved and informed with trauma-informed principles as I pursue my master's in public health.
