What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I was raised in a very screwed up and bass-ackwards system of 23 foster homes over 13 years and aged out early because there were no homes left for me. I was abused, neglected but worst of all... alone. My mother was also in foster care and the same caseworkers that took me from my mom, took my boys from me. Don't be mistaken though, I was a very good and loving mother with ACES & mental health issues, no support or family and a huge target on my back that said "easy prey". I have been on 2 sides of this spectrum and have a tremendous amount of experience and way too much pain and heartache that I need to share with others who might find it helpful. I also am a part of numerous parental rights groups as well. I would like to help other foster kids and families in any way I can.
