What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I have both a personal and professional interest in PACEs and the science of resilience. On a personal level, I am a youth who aged out of foster care without a plan or guidance. On a professional level, I worked with criminal defendants for over two decades, and while working on criminal justice reform, came to understand ACE's and Trauma Science and set out a way to change not only criminal justice but its root cause Child Welfare System as well. Now I am fortunate enough to help organizations, systems and individuals translate the science of trauma and resilience into processes for doing the work through a new lens.
