Retired educator. Poet and prose writer. University of California Health Humanities Press just published my memoir: Autobiography of a Sea Creature: Healing the Trauma of Infant Surgery, so I am busy promoting it.

What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
I had PTSD from an infant stomach surgery without anesthesia or pain control (1952) and wrote a memoir (June, 2023) about it to heal myself and to educate others. I am interested in campaigning to get invasive medical procedures on infants and children listed as an ACE score.
