I agree with everything he says, but I would add that most, if not all, violent people experienced unsupportive and harmful parenting. This is not to say that everyone who experiences disruptive parenting becomes violent. Indeed, most do not. But if we want to prevent violence, working to improve the overall quality of parenting must be part of the solution.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
