These two talks by Alan Watkins are terrific. Worth the time, because it shows very clearly (through real-time heart rate) how rhythmic breathing soothes the brain. And he explains the three important parts to breathing: rhythmic, smooth and from the heart. 

It's another approach (more business-oriented) to ACEs, trauma-informed and resilience-building practices, even though he never mentions those words.
